  • Rev. jessica Brendler Naulty

    Pastor Jessica, Senior Pastor of Clinton United Methodist Church, has a passion for helping others experience God’s love and growing into their best selves through worship, small groups, and mission. She believes we can transform the world in God’s love one heart at a time. Before coming to CUMC, Pastor Jessica served as the pastor of the United Methodist Church of Red Bank for 8 years, and as an associate pastor of Haddonfield UMC for 4. She is a graduate of Drew Theological School and a fourth-generation United Methodist pastor.

    Prior to answering her call, she taught high school Environmental Science, and still finds joy and awe in the complexity of God’s amazing creation. Pastor Jessica is the proud mother of two amazing children, Alyssa and Kristie.

  • beth crawford

    As Executive Director of Pastoral Ministries at Clinton UMC, Beth oversees church communications and also assists with strategy and operations. She believes her calling is to use her communication and management skills for Christ. Beth has worked in marketing, public relations, and management consulting. In her free time, she loves to cook and try new foods, read, and spend time outdoors.

  • sandi graham

    Sandi is the Administrative Assistant for Clinton UMC. She values the opportunity to really get to know a majority of the CUMC family. A lifelong Hunterdon County resident, Sandi attends two community groups and volunteers for the North Hunterdon Thrift Shop. She and her husband Christopher have a cat named Tiberius. In her free time, Sandi enjoys reading a book (usually from the Thrift Shop).

  • madeja stewart

    Madeja is Clinton UMC's Director of Children's and Youth Ministry. She loves serving in a position that combines her favorite things: young people and God. Madeja has worked for Americorps, in schools, and in other nonprofit settings. She's into watching true crime and scary movies, reading and writing, cooking and being outdoors. Her dog, Michael Scott, is everything to her. 

  • Karl Dietel

    Karl is the musical accompanist of Clinton UMC. He began playing piano at age 6, and has been practicing ever since. Raised in Hunterdon County, NJ, he graduated Boston University and was a touring musician for most of the 2000's. Karl teaches music at Hunterdon Preparatory School. He enjoys the challenges of accompanying choir pieces, hymns and praise songs, and is grateful to be a member of the CUMC community. Karl and his wife, Patricia, live in Lopatcong with their children, Warren and Willow.

  • heather Schweitzer

    Heather is currently the choir director for Clinton UMC. With a love of music and a heart for service, she works with the choir and members of the music ministry to enrich worship services each Sunday and encourage the congregation’s faith through music. Heather has sung in choirs most of her life and currently is a member of Masterwork Chorus based in Chatham, NJ. When not being musical, she enjoys watching sci-fi and crime dramas as well as doting on her niece and nephew. 

  • Eric and erica rasmussen

    Eric and Erica Rasmussen, our Digital Ministry Coordinators, are responsible for production and livestreaming of Clinton UMC's Sunday morning worship services, holidays and special events. Eric Rasmussen has been in television and film production for over 30 years and has received several awards from the corporate to the international level. Erica has worked as producer, editor, graphic artist, camera operator, and livestream operator for various events. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with their sons Ryan and Zachary along with their dogs Jagger and Goldie.

  • amanda santiago

    Amanda is a childcare provider at Clinton UMC. She has called Clinton home for her whole life. She and her husband have an amazing son Josue and a 14-year-old chihuahua named Tiny. Amanda is a nanny for 2 children and has worked with children for her entire career. She says children have always brought her joy--which she credits to her mother. Amanda enjoys being outdoors and spending time together with her extended family.

  • jess buntine

    Born and raised in Hunterdon County, Jess is a childcare provider at Clinton UMC. She has also provided childcare for Community Bible Study and as a nanny. Jess loves to bake and craft with her daughters, Peyton and Parker, and to spend time with her dogs WallE and Layla. Jess is  finishing up her last term at Purdue Global to become a Medical Assistant. She plans to continue to nursing school and eventually become an RN.

  • elaine Peete

    Elaine Peete is lead volunteer at the North Hunterdon Thrift Store, which offers high-quality, reasonably priced clothing and home goods. Elaine and her husband Dick have been members of Clinton UMC for 40 years. Elaine has served in many capacities, from Sunday School teacher to Lay Leader. Elaine loves to travel and has been blessed to be able visit many different countries with her husband, and some with children and grandchildren. She loves to work with children and tutors young people in math skills. 

  • donna sims

    Donna Sims, our custodian, is a mother of four and a stand-in mother of three. In addition to keeping the church clean and well-maintained, Donna volunteers at the North Hunterdon Thrift Shop. She also volunteers with Clinton UMC's Kids' Camp in the summer. Donna enjoys putting her passion for helping others into practice. Donna likes reading, going to the movies, and spending quality time with family. Known for her kind heart, quirky sense of humor, and love of butterflies, she puts God, friends, and family above all else in life. 

  • rose leonard

    Rose Leonard is CUMC's Bookkeeper/Accountant. She graduated with a double major in Marketing and Accounting and has worked for large corporations in various industries. Rose became an independent accounting consultant so she can visit her four grown children and new granddaughter, who are scattered across the country. Besides traveling, she  loves the outdoors, gardening, and taking her German shepherds for long walks.
